Do students need to pay anything?
No. Students never pay for Gitit. Only teachers can subscribe to Pro, and a single Pro teacher can host unlimited students across unlimited classes.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle. Paddle accepts all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and a range of local payment methods depending on your country.
Is the price in US dollars?
Yes — $5/month and $48/year are listed in USD. At checkout Paddle automatically converts to your local currency and adds any applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax.
Can I cancel?
Yes — cancel anytime from the Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then. See our Refund Policy for the money-back guarantee.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. Existing classes, assignments, and submissions keep working. You just can't create new resources past the Free-plan caps until you upgrade again.
Do you offer school-wide or district licenses?
Not yet. Today Gitit is sold per-teacher. If your school or district is interested in a bulk arrangement, email us at sales@gitit.app.
